WHAT HIVE SHOULD I PURCHASE?

A splittable Hive or a Honey Pot Hive?

If you are interested in honey harvesting than the honey pot hive is for you. It has a great little jar collection unit which makes harvesting much easier, quicker and ultimately safer for the bees. This hive box is also splittable, but I recommend either harvesting or splitting, not both at the same time.

However if honey harvesting isn't your primary goal, I would recommend sticking with a spliattble hive. After approximately 12 months of ownership, you can split you hive into two, and you can continue this process every year or so growing your bees as much as you would like.

If you don't desire to split your hive, the good thing is that they will be perfectly fine. When they reach capacity they will not abscond your hive. Stingless bees make such a great little pet as they require almost zero maintenance. The only requirements are that they are placed in full shade all year round or if you are in a cooler climate Morning sun during winter, please ask about specific for your climate. and Keep their flight patht free of any obstructions such as branches, spider webs etc.

All my hives come with a *12 month warranty.

Commercial quantities of hives are available for crop growers. Native bees are particularly beneficial for  Mangoes, Avocados, Watermelons, Blueberries, Lychees, Macadamias.
